MAY THE DOGS BE WITH YOU- A RESCUE EVENT

On May 27th, 2017, The Galactic Empire ascended upon the Rusty Rudder in Mt Pleasant for the first annual MAY THE DOGS BE WITH YOU rescue event.  Lowcountry Dog Magazine was joined by the 501st Carolina Garrison Legion to bring Star Wars to the rescue world.  5 local rescues were there with adoptable dogs as well as some LCD advertisers.  

Local musician, Matt MacKelcan played some tunes while patrons enjoyed a AYCE buffet, thanks to the Rusty Rudder.  Our event sponsor Tito's Handmade Vodka provided the liquid refreshment. The PICK A PRIZE raffle raised over $700 for the local rescues.
