The Week in Review
Great news on our "Feed Dogs in Need" Program. Hairy Winston Pet Boutique & Grocery has joined our cause and for each LIKE they receive between now and October 31st, they will donate a cup of food to a shelter dog as well! So keep Liking LCDM and Liking Hairy Winston as we work together to feed homeless dogs in rescues and shelters right here in Charleston. Click here to get started and nominate your favorite shelter or rescue: https://www.facebook.com/lowcountrydog/app_193409914104125 Then head on over to the Hairy Winston 's page and LIKE them too!
Do any of you have a recipe you are willing to share? The Dorchester SPCA d/b/a Frances R. Willis SPCA is working on a cookbook to raise money for the shelter! They would love to add your recipes to it! Please email frwspcagrants@hotmail.com!

We have a handful of spaces still available in our Photography Workshop Benefit for Pet Helpers on September 29th. NO fancy camera required! This three hour course is for those of you with regular cameras, who want to learn how to maximize lighting & composition, and utilize all the *super secret tricks* of the best pet photographers for better photos of your dogs and cats. Click below to get more information on the workshop, or call 843-478-0266 to register. Here's what one of our past students had to say about the course: "I applied my newly learned photographic techniques on my dog and got the best picture of her I have ever taken!" http://www.lowcountrydog.com/story/sections/photography-workshop-benefit...
