Meet a Lowcountry Dog: Tucker
My dog's name is Tucker. He is a 6 year old Terrier mix. Every morning is a memorable moment with Tucker. The morning time is his favorite time to snuggle and roll on his back for his "wake up" belly rub. They are the best times.
Tucker's favorite activity is being my shadow. If he had his way, he would be sitting in my lap or arms 24/7. He has no interest in toys or other animals. However, if someone has food, he will leave me and become their best friend.
Tucker is a love bug. He loves to snuggle and lives for belly rubs. A few months after being laid off, I was looking online for a dog to rescue and saw him. I went to Pet Helpers a few days later and since he was heartworm positive, I had to foster-to-adopt.
Watching him go through the painful treatments, always with a wag in his tail, helped me get through a difficult time. He inspired me to push through hard times and in January of this year, I launced a homemade treat company, lovingly called Tucker's Treats.
