Meet a Lowcountry Dog: Samantha Bunny

My dog's name is Samantha Bunny. She is a six month old English Springer Spaniel. The most memorable moment with Samantha is how she won over the hearts of our two older dogs. When we first brought Samantha home our two older dogs were definitely not in agreement with the decision to add her to our family unit.

Both of our older dogs had grown accustomed to their routine of lounging around and taking long naps during the day and were not prepared for a change. We were surprised that it was our Golden Retriever, Jeremy, who was most irritated by her initial presence. It didn’t take long for her to charm them both with her playful energy.

Her favorite activities include: running, swimming, wrestling, playing in her water bowl, and digging holes in the backyard. Samantha is loving, curious and brave. She brings out the playfulness in everyone, so as a family we are all much more active.
