Meet a Lowcountry Dog: Miss Piggy

My name is Miss Piggy aka: Piggy Skywalker Scanlon. I am an 8 years young Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix. This is quite embarassing, but here it goes. My most memorable moment was when my parents rescued a kitten that was taken from its mother too young. Apparently, the kitten had me confused with its mother, and kept trying to nurse on my nipples! My Mama and Papa had to keep taking the kitten off of me.

As far as my favorite activities go...where do I begin? For starters, I like to be a cool cat (oops...I mean dog!) and hang at Red's and House of Brews with my parents. When not out galavanting the local hang-outs, I enjoy fishing with my parents at the county parks.

I like to consider myself a laid back dog with tons of spunk with the right motivation, ya know? My parents lives changed five and half years ago when they adopted me from the old SPCA on Long Point Rd. They come home stressed from work, and I put a smile on their faces within minutes with my childish antics. I am the heart of the house and the center of everything my parents do!
