Meet a Lowcountry Dog: Abby

My dog's name is Abby but when she is bad she has multiple names including "Crazy Little Thing." She is a 4 year old Australian Shepherd. Our most memorable moment with her was our first qualifying run in an agility trial. It came after we took some time off from competing and many months of painstakingly going back to basics.

We compete in Dog Agility which she lives for. Abby is sweet at home, but turns it on for agility and is a completely different dog. She also loves to play frisbee. She loves chasing anything that moves: people, other dogs, lizards, flies and especially ducks.

Abby is outgoing and lovable. She has never met anyone she doesn't like. She loves to sit on laps, especially men. I did agility with my other dog but Abby takes agility to the next level for me. She always wants to work so we spend a lot of time training. This has created a deep bond between us. She gives so much love no matter what I do and at the end of the day I just want to sit with her.
