Introduction to Clicker Training – Learn how to train your dog using operant conditioning like the professional trainers! This class will give you a basic understanding of using a marker/reward system to train your best friend, whether for obedience commands or tricks, with a positive approach that’s lots of fun for both of you! You will learn how to “charge the clicker,” making it an exciting game for your dog, and have lots of practice with teaching behaviors using the clicker.

  • Dogs must be over 6 months of age
  • Bring a hungry dog
  • Equipment: lots of very small soft treats;
  • regular 6 foot or shorter leash – no extendable leashes
  • Crate-optional
