Foster Fridays: Jessie

Hi there! My name is Jessie. I am an 8 month old female Lab mix. I've been with my foster family for about 2 months now and would love to have a forever home of my own. Will you share my story to help them find me?

I am both housebroken & crate trained; the best of both worlds! I am currently learning basic obedience; so far I am learning sit, come, stay and how to walk well on a leash. I play well with other dogs but my foster mom does not know how am I around children or cats.

Here is what my foster mom says about me:

Jessie is an energetic, independent dog. She loves to play with her ball and is a pretty quiet dog inside considering her age. She is very loving and loves attention. She is very good in the bathtub and when we clip her nails. She would probably do best in an only dog household, she is kind of a diva and likes all the attention to herself :) She is a very sweet dog.

Jessie came from a high kill shelter in NC where WHLR pulled her right before she was supposed to be euthanized. She came with a lot of trust issues but we have been working through that day by day. She has come a long way with us but she will need someone who will take the time to help her get adjusted in their home and continue to work with her training.

If you would like to meet Jessie as much as she would like to meet you, please contact Wild Heir Lab Rescue.
