Final Yappy Hour of the Season

Event date:
Thursday, October 11th, 2012 at 4:00pm

After a long day at work, pick up your pooch and join the fun at the year’s final Yappy Hour on Thursday, Oct. 11 at the James Island County Park Dog Park.

Mingle with friends old and new while your dog runs around with his favorite pals. Join us from 4 p.m. until sunset to enjoy live music on stage in the dog park.

On Oct. 11, live music will be played on stage in the dog park by Charleston’s own Old You. Old You is a young group of four musicians that combine elements of funk, soul, jazz, and acid rock to forge a unique sound. In addition to a variety of venues throughout the Southeast, Old You has played at The Charleston Pour House, the Music Farm, Sky City, and Smith’s Olde Bar. The group has also taken first place at College of Charleston’s Battle of the Bands and RIRA’s Atlanta Battle of the Bands.

Beverages will be available for purchase on site at Yappy Hour. This event is free for you and your pup with the general $1 park admission or with the Charleston County Parks’ Gold Pass!

Outside alcohol is prohibited. No coolers, please. When outside of James Island County Park’s dog park, dogs must be leashed at all times.
